Simple Gifts: It’s Our Layering & Stacking Gift Guide

Sometimes the best things under the tree are the simplest. Here’s a guide for those on your list who like to stack and layer it up, with just a hint of gold here and a flash of diamonds there.

Earrings

1. Jude Frances Diamond Hoops, $250

Jude Frances hoops have long been favorites of ours, and we are ecstatic that they are now available in extra-petite sizes. The diamond hoops are chock full of possibilities, and are sold as singles so that you can mix and match to your heart’s content.  Their small size makes them just perfect to wear in second or third holes. Available in rose, white, or yellow gold. Pro tip: for future birthday & anniversary gifts, go for a set of Jude Frances earring enhancers that she can add on to her hoops.

2. Melissa Joy Manning Huggie Hoops, $75+

Lacking a post back, these are ultra-comfortable, and perfect for wearing daily in second or third piercings.  Every one of us on staff has a pair of these—they are our all-time favorites and get lots of mileage for their small size. Also available in standard size, size tiny, and in silver. We also love Melissa’s hoops for something simple, but a little more noticeable.

3. Lulu Designs White Topaz Huggies, $150+

These little huggy hoops feature sweet & subtle sparkling white topaz stones. We love that their size lends itself to easy layering with mixed & matched studs, and their post-less design makes for added comfort.

4. Maya Brenner Initial Posts, $105

Whether you choose your recipient’s initial, or the first letter of a child or grandchild’s name, these single studs make a great personalized gift.

5. Victoria Cunningham Post Earrings, $240+

These little posts are perfect for the person who likes a minimal aesthetic with fun, quirky details. From these flirty lip posts, to diamond-dotted watermelons, to tiny peanut posts, these offer a playful element to a stack of tiny studs.

Necklaces

1. Sweet Pea Necklaces, $650+

These are the finest, shiniest chains in our store. They are feather-light and just barely there… the ultimate minimal layering necklace.

2. Jane Hollinger Necklaces, $100+

These have long been staff and customer-favorites in our store, and are our go-to for necklaces to wear every single day. Go with the classic Coco necklace, which features a simple circle, or the gold Sweetie necklace, featuring a sweet, but not overly precious heart. Available in gold, mixed metal, and all silver (starting at $100).

3. Long Mizuki Dewdrop Necklace, $1190

This is our pick for a long layering necklace! Tiny white pearls are strung on a delicate gold chain for a necklace that drapes beautifully across the neckline.

4. Rebecca Overmann Large Diamond Briolette Necklace, $2900

You can’t get more classic than this! An elegant diamond briolette hangs from a delicate gold chain (pictured above).

5. Melissa Joy Manning Half Collar Necklace, $675

Shown above, this necklace features a wide collar of polished gold that sits across the neckline in an eye-catching, yet effortless way. A trendy and modern take on the simple layering necklace.

Rings

With so many great stacking rings in our store, we couldn’t choose just 5!

1. Victoria Cunningham Stacking Bands, $190+

Hands down, these are our go-to stacking rings! Every girl on staff has a small (or not so small) collection of these rings that we wear daily, and they are where we first point every customer who comes in looking for stacking rings. Start with a simple matte hammered band, or go for a sweetly textured ring like the tiny engraved band.

2. Diana Mitchell Monogram Mini-Signet Bands, $575

Personalized gifts are the very best, and we think it would be awfully sweet to give your recipient a ring with her first initial, or a stack of her kids’ initials.

3.Misa Stacking Bands, $625+

Looking to add a hint of organic texture to her ring stack? Our picks are the Misa Lava Ribbon Ring and the Wave Eternity Ring (shown above).

4. Our budget pick: Melissa Joy Manning Silver Stacking Rings, $100

At just $100 for a set of 8 rings, these are our go-to budget pick. These eight hammered wisps of silver are lovely worn solo for a subtle flash of silver, stacked all together, or split up and shared with a friend. Also available in 14K gold.

5. Lene Vibe Rings, $300+

Even the simplest stack needs a sweet and unique element to make it all its own… Lene Vibe’s magical, fairytale-esque rings are just that. Our favorites are the flower ring, the double shell ring, and the ginkgo ring.

6. ILA Rings, $575+

Want a gift that goes the extra mile? ILA’s bands are perfect for adding a little diamond sparkle to a stack of simple rings. Don’t miss the Reed ring (a lovely little eternity band), the Benson ring (a wide band with a bolder presence), and the Pietro ring (featuring a single marquis diamond resting ever so gently atop a simple gold band, this is one of the most romantic rings in our entire store).

Bracelets

1. Sweet Pea Bracelets, $330+

Just wisps of gold to grace your wrist, these the finest, sparkliest little layering bracelets that we carry (pictured above). Choose from any of Sweet Pea’s designs, from the pearl cluster chain bracelet, to the double strand gold dust bracelet, to the ultra-simple nano shapes bracelet.

2. Mizuki Seven Diamond Cuff Bracelet, $985

Mizuki’s seven diamond cuff bracelet has long been one of our favorites for layering. It features a row of diamonds, asymmetrically set on a classic gold cuff for an eye-catching design and a little extra sparkle. Looking to add to her stack? We also love her pearl cuffs.

3. Alison Shiboski’s Gold Dot Bangle. $1385

The gold dot bangle: just as simple in design as the other picks on our list, but a little more substantial and weightier in presence, making it perfect for wearing day in and day out.

4. ILA’s Leola Diamond Bracelet, $1985

An absolute dream of a bracelet for those who seek simple, beautiful, and timeless pieces for their jewelry wardrobe. A shimmering rose-cut diamond, which rests flush against the wrist, is set on a simple gold chain. We especially love that it’s fully adjustable to fit on wrists of all sizes.

5. Our Budget Pick: Hannah Blount’s Silver Cable Bracelet, $190

A twist on the classic bangle, this brushed bracelet make a simple statement. And priced at $190, the price can’t be beat.
